Travelling with BWIA and/or another scheduled carrier? Then here are some Baggage and Cargo Guidelines.

Our Baggage Matrix has been compiled in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines. BWIA is a member of IATA and our baggage rules can be used in conjunction with other participating airlines.

This matrix provides information for travel between BWIA destinations, and travel on BWIA and other IATA approved carriers, providing all travel segments are on the same ticket. If your journey is on more than one ticket, then the baggage rules for each ticket and those segments will apply. If you exceed your baggage allowance, we encourage you to use the services of BWee Cargo.

Our baggage matrix shows First or Business and Economy allowances for the respective board and off points as per IATA standards. BWIA operates or can operate an all economy service on certain routes/flights without notice. As a consequence First or Business class baggage allowances will not apply. The baggage matrix does not represent our flight schedules or booking system.

Business Class is offered on our UK and Toronto routes only. All other routes operate First and/or an Economy Service.
