Oxygen Service

My doctor tells me I need oxygen when travelling, who should I contact?
Before you request oxygen, your flight reservations for your entire journey on BWIA must be confirmed. It is recommended you give us at least one week's notice to make proper arrangements.

Small gaseous oxygen or air cylinders will only be allowed when required for medical use. If oxygen is required in-flight, you will not be permitted to use your own oxygen supply. Oxygen must be supplied from BWIA.

What documentation do I need to complete?
An Incapacitated Handling Advice (INCAD) will need to be completed. This INCAD form must be completed by your doctor and endorsed by the BWIA's company doctor, before you can finally be accepted for travel.

Is there any cost for this service?
In accordance with your doctors' recommendation, you will be issued the required amount of oxygen. The cost per bottle is US$ 50.00 plus any applicable taxes. This amount is non-refundable even if the oxygen is not used on the flight.
